Correction Notice for Six Senior Finance Technician Positions Published

The Regional Finance Secretariat has published a Correction Declaration No. 35/2026 to correct and complete Notice No. 313/2026, which opened a common recruitment procedure for the Budgetary, Treasury and Finance Entity of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.

The competition aims to fill six positions in the special career of senior technician in budget and finance, with an indefinite-term public employment contract. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science and Auditing.

The main change introduced by the correction is the full publication of the Knowledge Test syllabus, which was omitted from the original notice. The syllabus is extensive and includes the assessment of knowledge on dozens of legal documents, among which the following stand out:

• The Constitution of the Portuguese Republic and the Political-Administrative Statute of the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
• The State and Regional Budget Laws for 2026 and their respective implementing regulations.
• The organisational structure of the Regional Finance Secretariat and the Budgetary Entity.
• The General Law on Public Employment and the Administrative Procedure Code.
• Financial legislation, such as the Budget Framework Law, the State Financial Administration Regime and the Accounting Standards System for Public Administrations (SNC-AP).
• The Public Procurement Code.

In addition to publishing the full syllabus, the correction also sets a new deadline for applications: 10 working days, counted from the date of publication of this notice in the Official Journal. All other conditions of the competition remain unchanged.
