Night work authorized for tunnel maintenance on the regional road network
The company TEMPI has been authorized to carry out night work in the tunnels of the regional road network until the end of 2026.
The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth has authorized the company TEMPI - Termo Eletromecânica, Projetos e Instalações, S.A. (NIPC 511 024 940) to adopt a working period exceeding normal limits. The measure, formalized by order, allows for shift work between 8:00 PM and 3:00 AM, Monday to Friday, until December 30, 2026.
This authorization is exclusively for the execution of the contract Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of Ventilation Systems in Tunnels of the Regional Road Network of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. The decision is based on the need to carry out interventions within the tunnel environment while minimizing the impact on road traffic, following a favorable opinion from the concessionaire Viaexpresso.
