Government authorizes night work for Ribeira Brava South Tunnel project
The company TEMPI has been authorized to operate night shifts until the end of 2026 for maintenance work on the Ribeira Brava South Tunnel.
The Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth has granted authorization to the company TEMPI - TERMO ELETROMECÂNICA, PROJETOS E INSTALAÇÕES, S.A. (NIPC 511024940) to adopt a working period exceeding normal limits. The measure allows for shift work between 8:00 PM and 3:00 AM, from Monday to Friday.
This authorization, valid until the end of 2026, is intended for the execution of the project Replacement of Support Rods for the Ribeira Brava South Tunnel Conveyor and Cleaning of Respective Luminaires. The decision is based on the need to carry out the work at night due to the nature of the intervention, the tunnel location, and road traffic volume, with the favorable opinion of the concessionaire Vialitoral.
