Casa Lar dos Afetos funding increased to €2.53 million
Funding for the PRR-backed Casa Lar dos Afetos project has risen to €2,535,520.19. The initiative will provide 25 places in a residential care home for older people and 3 places in a day centre.
The Regional Government has increased the total funding allocated to project 3747 - Casa Lar dos Afetos (CLA) to €2,535,520.19. The project is funded under the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). The change was approved by Ordinance No. 574/2026 and represents an increase of €68,064.34 on the amount previously set.
The investment, contracted between the then SRIJ and Casa do Povo de Santo António, involved the construction of a Residential Care Home for Older People (ERPI) and a Day Centre integrated into the ERPI. The project provides for 25 places in the ERPI and 3 places in the Day Centre.
The revised allocation of costs is as follows:
- 2024: €0;
- 2025: €627,102;
- 2026: €1,908,418.19.
The ordinance amends Ordinance No. 110/2024 of 20 March. The amount had previously been increased to €2,467,455.85 by Ordinance No. 294/2026 of 2 July. The latest change follows the rescheduling of the project's financial implementation.
Ordinance No. 574/2026 was signed on 29 September and enters into force on the day after its publication.
