The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized the Madeira Social Security Institute to assume multi-year expenses of 12.7 million euros to ensure the continuity of social services at the Bela Vista Establishment.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat for Finance and the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth, has published Ordinance no. 303/2026, authorizing the Madeira Social Security Institute, IP-RAM (ISSM, IP-RAM) to assume the budgetary burdens necessary for the renewal of Typical and Atypical Agreement no. 1/2023, signed with the Living Care Association.
This measure aims to ensure the continuous funding of social services provided at the Bela Vista Establishment, which include:
The maximum total amount authorized for the period between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2029, is €12,710,143.80, distributed across the following fiscal years:
The maximum monthly contribution is set at €353,059.55, with the possibility of updating annual amounts provided there is budgetary availability and in accordance with the resolutions of the Regional Government Council. The renewal has retroactive effects to July 1, 2026.
The Government Council authorized a program-contract to financially support the 2026 activity plan of the Social Solidarity Association Crescer Sem Risco.
The Regional Secretariat for Health and Civil Protection approved the internal redistribution of 420,000 euros in financial support to the Madeira Volunteer Firefighters Humanitarian Association across three support programmes.
The Parish Church Factory of Prazeres will receive a financial contribution of 20,000 euros to ensure the normal operation of the Prazeres Educational Farm in 2026.
