Through Ordinance no. 197/2026, the Regional Government has authorized the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth to assume budgetary commitments in the amount of €6,120.00 to support the Clarissas Monastery of Nossa Senhora da Piedade da Caldeira, in Câmara de Lobos.
The funding, which will be distributed between 2026 and 2029 (€1,530.00 per year), aims to ensure the maintenance of the facilities and the regular operation of this space, recognized for its historical, cultural and spiritual value to the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
