Regional Meeting for Direct Action Caregivers Receives 27,000 Euro Support
The Santana Cidade Solidária Association will organize a regional meeting for professionals caring for the elderly, with financial support from the Regional Government.
The Government Council authorized the signing of a program contract with the Santana Cidade Solidária Association to support the event "The Meaning of Care - Regional Meeting of Direct Action Caregivers in Residential Structures for the Elderly".
The support, formalized by Regional Government Council Resolution No. 811/2026, amounts to a maximum of €27,135.00. The funds will be processed in a single installment after the contract is signed.
The event aims to value and recognize the role of direct action caregivers, promoting knowledge updating, sharing of best practices, and strengthening their technical and human skills. The initiative is considered to be of clear public interest, contributing to the qualification of care provided to the elderly in the region.
