Ordinance No. 311/2026 changes the funding schedule for the creation of new continuing care inpatient units, with a total value of 4.2 million euros.
The Regional Government has changed the phasing of financial charges for the expansion of the Integrated Continuing Care Network in Madeira. The measure is contained in Ordinance No. 311/2026, of July 4, which modifies Ordinance No. 613/2023 and its subsequent amendments.
The investment, designated C01-i05-RAM - Strengthening of the Regional Health Service (sub-investment C01-i05.01), is financed by the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). Its objective is the construction from scratch, expansion and/or remodeling of infrastructure to create new inpatient units in the different typologies of General Integrated Continuing Care. The overall amount remains at 14,220,000.00 € (fourteen million two hundred and twenty thousand euros).

The charges for 2026 are covered in the private budget of the Institute for Health Administration, IP-RAM. The ordinance entered into force on July 15, 2026.
