The Region has redistributed the costs of the procedure to rebuild coastal protection at the Seixal wastewater treatment plant over three years. The total is €2.96 million, plus VAT.
Ordinance No. 573/2026 redistributes the budget costs of the procedure “SEIXAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT - RECONSTRUCTION OF COASTAL PROTECTION”, file No. 1/2026. The total remains €2,960,000, plus VAT at the applicable legal rate.

The ordinance redistributes the amounts set out in Ordinance No. 356/2026, published on 23 July. Any balance identified for a given year may be added to the amount allocated for the following year. The 2026 expenditure is covered by the Budget of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, while the funds for 2027 and 2028 will be included in the respective budget proposals.
Signed on 28 September, Ordinance No. 573/2026 enters into force on the first working day following its publication.
The Government Council approved a proposal to amend the legislation establishing rules for the defence and protection of regional roads. The proposal will now be submitted to the Legislative Assembly of Madeira.
