Two Madeira projects open for 15-day public consultation
The Regional Government has opened public consultations on the ER 120 project between Ribeiro Cochino and Calheta, and the first phase of the Ribeira Brava seafront and channel works at the river’s lower stretch. Interested parties may submit suggestions, complaints and comments within the deadlines set out in the notices.
Two public works projects in Madeira have been submitted for public consultation by the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure. Notices No. 498/2026 and No. 499/2026 set a 15-day period, starting on the eighth day after each notice is published in the Official Journal, for interested parties to participate.
- ER 120 - Ribeiro Cochino / Calheta, under Notice No. 498/2026. The file can be consulted at the Regional Directorate for Roads, on the 2nd floor, room 239 - Drawing Room, at Rua Dr. Pestana Júnior, No. 6, in Funchal, on weekdays from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00. It is also available on the Regional Directorate for Roads website.
- Ribeira Brava - Seafront and Channel Works on the Lower Stretch. Phase 1, under Notice No. 499/2026. The file is available at the Regional Directorate for Social Facilities and Maintenance, on the 4th floor of the building at Rua Dr. Pestana Júnior, No. 6, in Funchal, on weekdays from 09:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 17:00, as well as on the websites listed in the notice.
In both cases, participants may submit suggestions, complaints, comments or requests for clarification in writing. Contributions may be delivered to the relevant offices or sent by post or email, and must be received by the end of the respective public consultation period.
