The Government Council approved revised purchase values for two housing projects, totaling over 10 million euros, due to increased construction costs.
The Regional Government Council approved, through Resolution No. 828/2026, the update of the acquisition prices for two remaining housing developments from a public program. The measure follows a contractual price review, foreseen for force majeure situations that cause an increase of more than 5% in construction costs.
The new values authorized for IHM - Investimentos Habitacionais da Madeira, EPERAM, to proceed with the purchase are as follows:
The expenditure, to be executed in 2026, will be covered by funds from the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) and the regional budget. The resolution authorizes IHM to proceed with the formalities for the execution of the definitive purchase and sale deeds.
