Government authorizes over 2.1 million euros for Calheta construction project
Ordinance No. 403/2026 authorizes the allocation of 2,160,500 euros for the 'ER 120 - Ribeiro Cochino/Calheta' construction project, with staggered payments until 2027.
The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized, through a joint ordinance from the Finance and Equipment & Infrastructure departments, the distribution of budgetary charges for a construction project in Calheta. The total approved investment is 2,160,500.00 euros.
The funds are intended for the procedure designated 'ER 120 - Ribeiro Cochino/Calheta. Construction Project'. The distribution of the total amount will be as follows:
- Fiscal year 2026: 540,125.00 €
- Fiscal year 2027: 1,620,375.00 €
The ordinance also establishes that the amount set for each year may be increased by the balance ascertained in the previous year. The expenditure for 2026 is already covered in the Autonomous Region of Madeira (RAM) budget for that year, while the funds needed for 2027 will be included in the respective budget. All amounts will be increased by VAT at the applicable legal rate.
The act, published in the Official Journal on August 19, came into force on the first working day following its publication.
