Ordinance No. 355/2026 amends and redistributes funding for verge maintenance services in four sections of the regional road network, with a total value exceeding 1.9 million euros.
The Regional Government has approved an amendment and redistribution of budgetary charges for a contract for cleaning and maintenance of regional roads. The measure covers four distinct lots and is formalised in Ordinance No. 355/2026.
The procedure in question is the "Acquisition of Verge Maintenance Services for Cleaning Roads, Verges, Ditches and Embankments on Various Sections of the Regional Road Network 2025/2028", originally approved by Ordinance No. 77/2026. The new values and their distribution by financial years are as follows:
The total amount for the four lots amounts to €1,905,063.24. The ordinance establishes that the value for each year may be increased by the balance from the previous year and that VAT at the applicable legal rate applies to these values. The expenditure for 2026 has guaranteed budgetary coverage, with the funds for the following years being dependent on the respective budget proposals.
Order No. 430/2026 authorizes the budget distribution for the rehabilitation project of the Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol Mixed Fire Station, with a maximum value of 2,475,416.66 euros.
Ordinance No. 426/2026 authorizes the allocation of 6.72 million euros for slope stabilization and protection works on a section of Expressway 2 between the Ladeira da Vinha and João Delgado tunnels.
The Council of Government has authorized the friendly expropriation of a plot of land valued at 32,616.55 euros, necessary for the construction of the Boaventura-São Vicente Expressway.
