Regional Government redistributes costs for Porto Santo works and VR1 maintenance

The Regional Government of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat of Finance and the Regional Secretariat of Equipment and Infrastructure, has proceeded with the redistribution of budget commitments for three distinct procedures:

• Porto Santo Local Health Unit - Phase 2 - A (Lot 1): Supervision and coordination services for the work (process no. 49/2025), with a total value of €688,441.09. The funding is staggered between 2026 and 2038, in accordance with Ordinance no. 240/2026.
• Structural Rehabilitation of Cais Velho and Recovery of Pontao das Salinas (Lot 2): Supervision and coordination services for the work (process no. 49/2025), with a total value of €180,585.00. The funding is distributed between 2026 and 2028, under the same Ordinance no. 240/2026.
• Technical Advice and Support for VR1 Management: Procedure related to the operation and maintenance of the expressway between Ribeira Brava and Machico Sul, with a total value of €716,820.00. The distribution of costs occurs between 2026 and 2031, under the terms of Ordinance no. 241/2026.

These measures aim to ensure compliance with the multi-annual financial obligations assumed by the regional executive for the execution of these critical infrastructures and services.
