The Regional Government has formalized the expropriation of a plot of land to allow the progress of canalization works on the Ribeira da Palmeira.
Within the scope of the Canalization of Ribeira da Palmeira Downstream of Rua da Palmeira project, the Regional Government has issued Resolution no. 564/2026, which authorizes the expropriation of land plot no. 20.
The measure, which represents a total cost of 23,600.00 euros, covers the following owners:
The friendly expropriation deed will be signed by the Regional Secretary of Finance, on behalf of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, with budgetary allocation already secured under Project 50153.
Order No. 430/2026 authorizes the budget distribution for the rehabilitation project of the Ribeira Brava and Ponta do Sol Mixed Fire Station, with a maximum value of 2,475,416.66 euros.
Ordinance No. 426/2026 authorizes the allocation of 6.72 million euros for slope stabilization and protection works on a section of Expressway 2 between the Ladeira da Vinha and João Delgado tunnels.
The Council of Government has authorized the friendly expropriation of a plot of land valued at 32,616.55 euros, necessary for the construction of the Boaventura-São Vicente Expressway.
