Regional Government moves forward with rehabilitation of Porto Santo breakwater
The Madeira Government has authorized an investment of 2.37 million euros for the rehabilitation of port infrastructure in Porto Santo.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat for the Economy and the Regional Secretariat for Finance, has authorized the distribution of budgetary charges related to the rehabilitation project of the Porto Santo port breakwater. The work represents a total investment of €2,375,000.00, plus VAT at the current legal rate.
According to Ordinance no. 167/2026, the payment plan is staggered as follows:
- 2026: €950,000.00
- 2027: €1,425,000.00
The expenditure will be covered by the private budget of APRAM - Administration of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, S.A., and the amount set for each financial year may be increased by the balance determined in the previous year.
