Monica Carolina de Sousa Pereira has been appointed to the 1st-degree intermediate management position at the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure.
The Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure has formalized, through Order no. 191/2026, the appointment of Monica Carolina de Sousa Pereira as Director of the Public Procurement Office, within the Regional Directorate for Planning, Resources and Public Works Management.
The appointment, under a service commission regime, follows a competitive selection process where the candidate demonstrated the appropriate profile, professional experience, and necessary academic background, including a postgraduate degree in Public Procurement Law. Monica Pereira, who had already been holding the position on an interim basis since November 2025, now assumes the 1st-degree intermediate management role with immediate effect.
The reallocation and update of funding for the 'Chromatic Intervention' project in Paul do Mar, Calheta municipality, has been approved, up to a total of €854,959.62.
