Government redistributes funds for safety works on Regional Road 211
The redistribution of budgetary charges for the contract to restore safety conditions on ER 211, following the 2020 storm, has been published.
Through Ordinance no. 155/2026, the Regional Government of Madeira proceeded with the redistribution of budgetary charges related to the contract for "Restoration of Minimum Safety and Operational Conditions on Regional Road 211, Following the Storm of December 25, 2020. Contract", specifically for Lot 1.
This measure changes the financial scheduling of the project, defining the following values per fiscal year:
- 2023: €523,327.72
- 2024: €1,275,362.17
- 2025: €186,778.75
- 2026: €443,032.06
The ordinance, signed by the Regional Secretary of Education, Science and Technology (substituting for the Regional Secretary of Finance) and the Regional Secretary of Equipment and Infrastructure, establishes that VAT at the current legal rate is added to the mentioned values. The amount set for each year may be increased by the balance determined in the previous year.
