Regional Government invests 1.55 million euros in the rehabilitation of the Porto Santo Golf Course
The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized the distribution of budgetary charges for the rehabilitation of the Porto Santo Golf Course, totaling an investment of 1.55 million euros.
The Regional Government of Madeira, through the Regional Secretariat of Finance and the Regional Secretariat of Equipment and Infrastructure, has formalized the authorization for the distribution of budgetary charges intended for the rehabilitation of the Porto Santo Golf Course. This measure, made official by Ordinance No. 136/2026, aims to co-finance investment expenses under PIDDAR Project No. 53318.
The program contract will be signed between the Autonomous Region of Madeira and the Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Porto Santo, S.A., with a maximum global amount of 1,550,000.00 euros. The funding is staggered as follows:
- Fiscal year 2026: up to 400,000.00 euros;
- Fiscal year 2027: up to 900,000.00 euros;
- Fiscal year 2028: up to 250,000.00 euros.
The ordinance also establishes that the amount set for each fiscal year may be increased by the balance found in the previous year. The mentioned values do not include VAT at the current legal rate. The funds for the current year are duly registered in the budget of the Regional Secretariat of Equipment and Infrastructure, with funds for subsequent years provided for in future budget proposals.
