Regional Government approves new public expenditure review rules
The Regional Government Council has approved the Regional Regulatory Decree that defines the procedures for the review of public expenditure in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
Through Resolution no. 567/2026, the Regional Government Council, meeting in plenary session on June 3, 2026, approved the Regional Regulatory Decree that establishes the rules and procedures for the review of public expenditure in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
This measure aims to provide greater rigor and efficiency to the management of regional public resources, structuring the regulatory framework that will guide the control and optimization of public treasury spending.
