The Regional Government Council, meeting in plenary session on May 28, 2026, approved the Regional Legislative Decree Proposal regarding the multi-annual budget programming framework. This instrument defines the effective expenditure limits of the Autonomous Region of Madeira for the 2026 to 2030 time horizon.
The measure, formalized through Regional Government Council Resolution No. 560/2026, aims to establish the Region's budgetary trajectory for the coming years, ensuring the sustainability of regional public accounts.
The Regional Government authorized the sale of eleven rural plots located in Caniço and Curral das Freiras to two private individuals, for a total of 137,690 euros.
