The Madeiran Executive has authorized the provision of ancillary payments to APRAM - Administration of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, S.A., totaling 3,506,788.00 euros.
Through Resolution no. 559/2026, the Regional Government authorized the allocation of ancillary payments to APRAM - Administration of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, S.A., in the total amount of 3,506,788.00 €.
This measure aims to ensure that the public company, responsible for managing the region's ports, terminals, and marinas, meets its financial commitments arising from bank loans in a timely manner. The decision was made following prior authorization from the Regional Secretariat of Finance, which holds the company's shareholder role.
The Region has updated the unit rates of the tax on petroleum and energy products applicable to unleaded petrol, road diesel and coloured and marked diesel. The new rates take effect on 19 October 2026.
The Regional Government Council approved a proposal to change the income tax rates applicable to residents of the Region. The bill will be submitted to the Legislative Assembly of Madeira under an urgent procedure.
The Administrative Council of the Madeira Legislative Assembly approved a 52,000-euro adjustment to expenditure in its own budget. The measure is intended to ensure that expenditure is correctly allocated according to its economic nature.
