The Academia da Fantasia Kindergarten will receive a financial boost of 58,196 euros to contribute to staff salaries during the 2025-2026 school year.
The Regional Government has approved a financial boost for a private educational establishment, as part of support for its operation and for families. Resolution of the Regional Government Council No. 808/2026 approves an addendum to the simple contract signed with the company Sector Regra, Lda., responsible for the Academia da Fantasia Kindergarten.
The addendum grants an additional financial contribution that cannot exceed the maximum amount of 58,196.00 € for the 2025-2026 school year. This amount is specifically intended to contribute to the salaries of eligible staff working at the establishment.
The need for the boost arises from changes verified after the start of the school year, particularly regarding the number of children, salary updates, and modifications in family incomes, which affected family allowance brackets and, consequently, the support amounts. The expense will be borne by the regional budget.
A new regulation sets out who can attend training courses run by the Regional Directorate for Public Administration and the conditions for receiving certificates. The rules include minimum attendance requirements, mandatory declarations, and new record-keeping and data protection obligations.
The Regional Government approved financial support for the operation and social action of two private educational establishments, totaling over 1.9 million euros.
The Regional Directorate of School Administration has authorized the permanent transfer of two technical assistants to the Ponta do Sol Basic and Secondary School.
