Calheta School Delegates Powers to Three Vice-Presidents

The president of the Executive Council of the Calheta Basic and Secondary School has delegated specific powers to the three vice-presidents, defining their areas of supervision and responsibility.

Dispatch No. 287/2026 formalizes the delegation of powers from the president of the Executive Council of the Calheta Basic and Secondary School to the three vice-presidents of the body. The measure aims for a more efficient and distributed management of school responsibilities.

The powers were allocated as follows:

  • To the Vice-President of the Executive Council, Sofia Maria Araújo de Canha: the power to chair the Administrative Council; the hierarchical supervision of the Coordinator of School Administrative Services and the staff in the IT Technician career; and the performance evaluation of these workers.
  • To the Vice-President of the Executive Council, Adriana Varela Pereira Santos: the power in disciplinary matters concerning students; the hierarchical supervision of staff in the Technical Assistant and Senior Technician careers assigned to the library service and all non-teaching staff in preschool and 1st cycle; the performance evaluation of that same staff; and the evaluation of teachers positioned in the 8th, 9th, and 10th salary scales, as well as internal teacher evaluators.
  • To the Vice-President of the Executive Council, Gabriela Maria Agrela Monis da Silva: the hierarchical supervision of staff in the Operational Assistant career assigned to the 2nd, 3rd cycles and secondary education, and the Senior Technician assigned to School Social Action; and the performance evaluation of these workers.

The dispatch, signed by president José Bernardo Ferreira Gouveia on June 29, 2026, also ratifies all acts carried out by the vice-presidents under this delegation since June 25, 2026.
