Service Commissions Renewed for Middle Management and School Administrative Coordinators
The Official Journal published four decisions renewing service commissions for a regional director and four administrative coordinators in Madeira schools.
The Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM) of July 20, 2026, announced the renewal of four service commissions within the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology. The decisions aim to ensure continuity of management in middle management positions and school administrative coordination for the next academic year.
The renewals cover one middle management position in the regional administration and four administrative service coordination positions in specific schools, all effective from September 2026, except one starting in July.
- Director of Artistic Education Services: The service commission of Maria Natalina Faria Cristovão Santos, a teacher at the Padre Manuel Álvares Basic and Secondary School, was renewed in the 1st Grade Middle Management position of Director of Artistic Education Services of the Regional Directorate of Education. The renewal was authorized by order of the Regional Secretary and formalized through Notice No. 326/2026, effective from July 15, 2026.
- Coordinator in Porto Santo: The service commission of Helder José dos Santos Baptista (Technical Assistant) was renewed as coordinator of school administrative services at the Professor Doutor Francisco Freitas Branco Basic and Secondary School with Preschool and Nursery in Porto Santo. The decision, made by the executive board president, is in Order No. 293/2026 and takes effect from 01/09/2026. During absences, he will be replaced by Mónica Maria Teixeira Rodrigues (Senior Technician).
- Coordinator in Ribeira Brava: The service commission of Elisa Maria Sousa Gomes (Technical Coordinator) was renewed as coordinator of school administrative services at the Padre Manuel Álvares Basic and Secondary School. The renewal is included in Order No. 294/2026, effective from 01/09/2026. Her substitute in case of absence will be Nélia Lúcia Reis Macedo (Technical Assistant).
- Coordinator in Camacha: The service commission of Ana Cristina Brito Gonçalves (Senior Technician) was renewed as coordinator of school administrative services at the Dr. Luís Maurílio da Silva Dantas Basic and Secondary School. The measure is in Order No. 295/2026 and comes into force on 01/09/2026. The designated substitute is Delta Solange Pestana Abreu (Senior Technician).
These renewals are carried out under Article 13-A of Regional Legislative Decree No. 13/2021/M, which establishes the legal regime for non-teaching staff, allowing appointment on a service commission for periods of one school year, renewable.
