The Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology has authorized the renewal or maintenance of the service commissions for administrative services coordinators in four schools in the Region, ensuring management continuity.
The Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM) published four orders that ensure the continuity of administrative coordination in public schools for the next school year. The decisions, taken by the presidents of the executive councils of the respective schools, fall under the legal regime for non-teaching staff.
The coordinators of school administrative services are appointed on a service commission basis, for periods of one school year, renewable, from among workers in the technical assistant and senior technician careers. For each appointment, a substitute was also designated for periods of absence or impediment.

All renewals take effect from September 1, 2026, marking the start of the 2026/2027 school year.
Carla Patrícia Pereira Viríssimo Anjo and Magda Isabel Gonçalves Pestana have consolidated their mobility within the category, effective 1 September 2026. Both are placed at the first salary step, level 8 of the Early Childhood Support Technician category.
Candidates admitted to recruitment competitions for operational assistant roles in Madeira’s public schools have been called to sit the exam on 24 October 2026. The venue and time are available on the Regional Directorate for School Administration website.
Tânia Raquel Calafatinho Nicolau has been appointed to lead the Human Resources Division of the Madeira School of Hospitality and Tourism. Her three-year appointment takes effect on 1 October 2026.
