The Regional Secretariat for Economy and Finance has set new maximum public sale prices for gasoline and diesel, effective August 3rd.
The Regional Government of Madeira has approved, through Joint Order No. 71/2026, the new maximum public sale prices for fuels. The update comes into effect from 00:00 on August 3, 2026.
The established maximum prices are as follows:
The price setting was carried out under the terms of Ordinance No. 25/2022, of January 26, and was signed by the acting regional secretaries.
The Regional Government Council authorized the payment of monetary prizes to individual and collective participants in the 68th edition of the Porto Moniz Agricultural Fair, held in 2025.
The Legislative Assembly has granted EEM the concession for water resource use and recognized it as the managing entity for the Calheta hydroelectric complex, classified as a multi-purpose development.
