Government awards financial support to four rural sector associations
The Autonomous Region of Madeira will sign program-contracts with four rural and associative entities, with total support amounting to 52,130.46 euros.
The Regional Government Council authorized the signing of program-contracts with four entities, granting financial support for the year 2026. The support aims to assist in the operation and activities of rural and local development.
The beneficiary entities and their respective amounts are as follows:
- Cooperativa de Criadores de Gado das Serras da Freguesia do Seixal e Ribeira da Janela, C.R.Lda. via Regional Government Council Resolution No. 670/2026: Support of up to 10,000.00 euros for activities in 2026.
- ACAPORAMA - Associação das Casas do Povo da Região Autónoma da Madeira via Regional Government Council Resolution No. 671/2026: Support of up to 20,000.00 euros to contribute to expenses with the Training Academy in 2026.
- ADRAMA (Associação de Desenvolvimento da Região Autónoma da Madeira) via Regional Government Council Resolution No. 672/2026: Total support of up to 5,850.00 euros, distributed as 2,350.00 euros for operating expenses and 3,500.00 euros for initiatives promoting social, economic, and cultural development.
- ACAPORAMA - Associação das Casas do Povo da Região Autónoma da Madeira via Regional Government Council Resolution No. 673/2026: Total support of up to 32,471.72 euros for operation and initiatives. From this amount, an advance of 16,341.26 euros already granted is deducted, resulting in a maximum net support of 16,130.46 euros.
The support is granted under the Regulation for the Allocation of Financial Support to Livestock Breeders' Associations and the Regulation for Financial Support to People's Houses and their Associations. The contracts will be signed and approved by the Regional Secretary of Agriculture and Fisheries or the Regional Director of Agriculture and Rural Development.
