A new program contract between the Regional Secretariat for the Economy and APRAM guarantees funding for investment expenses, including maritime protection for the Funchal pier.
Ordinance no. 244/2026 has been published, formalizing the distribution of budgetary burdens for a Program Contract between the Regional Secretariat for the Economy and APRAM - Administration of the Ports of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, S.A.. The total value of the support is 5,628,602.00 euros.
This amount is intended to co-finance the port company's investment expenses, with emphasis on project no. 51553, regarding the Optimization of the maritime protection front of the inert materials depot, created to the east of the Funchal city pier (process no. 1/T/2016/SRETC). The funding is distributed over the following financial years:
The expenditure for 2026 already has the commitment no. CY42608514, with the remaining years registered in the Central Multi-annual Expenditure System (SCEP) under no. 20472.
The regulation for the Extraordinary Fuel Support Program (PAC Social) has been published, granting financial compensation to IPSS for additional diesel and gasoline costs.
Ordinance No. 360/2026 establishes the rules for granting an extraordinary support of 10 cents per liter of colored and marked diesel to professional fishermen, to compensate for the increase in fuel prices.
