Ordinance no. 232/2026, signed by the Regional Secretariats of Finance and Agriculture and Fisheries, introduces an amendment to the regulation for awarding prizes at the Porto Moniz Agricultural Fair, originally approved by Ordinance no. 359/2025.
The main change concerns article 6 of the single annex, now allowing the value of prizes awarded to participants who are non-business individuals to be paid directly to the winner, in addition to the existing possibility of payment through agricultural sector associations that represent them.
This measure, which enters into force the day after its publication, has retroactive effects to the date of entry into force of Ordinance no. 359/2025, aiming to provide greater flexibility and speed in the prize delivery process.
The Santo Antonio da Serra Cider House space has been assigned to the Regional Secretariat of Agriculture and Fisheries to allow operational management by APSRAM.
Amendments to Ordinance no. 162/2025 aim to mitigate operational constraints and clarify payment deadlines for beekeepers in Madeira.
The Regional Government has made regulatory adjustments to the awarding of prizes at the Porto Moniz Agricultural Fair, support for beekeeping, and the composition of the Craft Valorization Award jury.
