The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized program contracts to support the travel expenses of sports agents from five regional associations during the 2025/2026 season.
The Regional Government Council approved, in a plenary session on April 30, 2026, the signing of five sports development program contracts (CPDD) aimed at subsidizing travel and daily allowance costs for sports agents. These grants aim to mitigate the costs caused by insularity and ensure the participation of athletes, coaches, and officials in regional and national competitions.

The contracts, which are valid until December 31, 2026, are managed by the Regional Directorate of Sports, with the Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology mandated for their approval.
