Regional Government grants support to seven regional radio stations
The Regional Government of Madeira has authorized program contracts with seven local radio stations, totaling an investment of 592,200 euros to promote regional projects.
The Regional Government Council has approved program contracts with seven radio stations based in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. These agreements, effective from April 2026 to March 2029, aim to promote informative, social, economic, cultural, and sporting projects.
Each station will receive a financial contribution of €84,600.00, distributed over 36 months. The beneficiary entities and their respective legal instruments are:
- Rádio Praia (Resolution no. 158/2026)
- Rádio Santana (Resolution no. 159/2026)
- Rádio São Vicente (Resolution no. 160/2026)
- Rádio Sol (Resolution no. 161/2026)
- Rádio Notícias - TSF Madeira (Resolution no. 162/2026)
- Rádio Zarco (Resolution no. 163/2026)
- Rádio Posto Emissor do Funchal - Canal 1 - Onda Média (Resolution no. 164/2026)
The Regional Secretary for Education, Science and Technology, Elsa Maria dos Santos Fernandes, was mandated to sign the contracts, which are covered by the budget of the Autonomous Region of Madeira for 2026.
