Regional Government supports three cultural and tourism projects

The Regional Government Council has authorized cooperation agreements with three local associations, totaling an investment of 19,000 euros for cultural and tourism promotion.

The Regional Government of Madeira has approved, through resolutions published in the Official Gazette, the allocation of financial support to three distinct entities for the execution of cultural and tourism animation projects in 2026:

  • Grupo de Folclore e Etnográfico da Boa Nova: Support of €1,000.00 (Resolution no. 274/2026) for research and exhibition on the collection of inlay pieces at the Popular Art Museum Center.
  • Associação Cool Hub Cultural: Support of €15,000.00 (Resolution no. 275/2026) for the execution of the 'Calheta Soundscool' project, a World Music festival in the municipality of Calheta.
  • Associação Palco Vazio: Support of €3,000.00 (Resolution no. 294/2026) for the production and presentation of the play 'Metamorphosis', by Franz Kafka, in the municipality of Câmara de Lobos.

These protocols aim to decentralize cultural offerings and promote regional identity, remaining in effect until the end of 2026.
