The Regional Government Council has authorized cultural cooperation protocols with three local associations for theater, choral, and philharmonic music in 2026.
The Regional Government Council, through Resolutions no. 269/2026, 270/2026, and 271/2026, approved the allocation of financial support to three cultural entities, totaling an investment of €18,000.00:
These protocols aim to foster cultural decentralization and the promotion of regional artistic heritage, effective until December 31, 2026.
The Government Council approved financial support for a Christmas musical, a cycle of contemporary music concerts, and a multidisciplinary arts festival.
The Regional Government has accepted the donation of a valuable 16th-century Luso-Flemish sculpture, offered by two companies under cultural patronage, which will be integrated into the collection of the Quinta das Cruzes Museum.
The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture and the Regional Secretariat for Finance have authorized 15,000 euros in support for the Madeira Bridge Association to host the international event in 2026.
