Fernando dos Prazeres Joaquim Peres has been appointed, on an interim basis, head of the Planning and Management Division of the Regional Directorate for Spatial Planning. The appointment takes effect on 1 October 2026.
Fernando dos Prazeres Joaquim Peres has been appointed head of the Planning and Management Division of the Regional Directorate for Spatial Planning, a service within the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture. The appointment is on an interim basis to a second-tier middle-management position.
The order states that the position had been vacant since 1 September 2026, following the dismissal of the previous postholder. The appointment takes effect on 1 October 2026, due to the urgent needs of the service, and is intended to ensure its normal operation.
Peres is a senior officer on the staff of the Regional Directorate for Spatial Planning and holds a law degree. Order No. 426/2026 was signed by the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture, António Eduardo de Freitas Jesus, on 28 September 2026.
Four orders appoint managers to services and divisions of the Regional Youth Directorate, effective 1 November 2026. The appointments are for one-year terms.
