Two New Division Heads Appointed in the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture

The Regional Government of Madeira has proceeded with the appointment of two new heads for intermediate management positions in the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture (SRTAC). The decisions were published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM) and take effect from September 1, 2026.

The appointments aim to fill 2nd-degree intermediate management positions, essential for the management and functioning of the services. The two selected professionals are senior technicians already integrated into the SRTAC's Centralized Human Resources Management System.

• Ana Filipa Gonçalves Patrício de Freitas was designated for the position of Head of the Investment Budget and Heritage Management Division within the services of the Office of the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture. The appointment was made through Order No. 361/2026, under a one-year service commission regime. The graduate in Hotel Organization and Management previously held the position of Senior Technician in the SRTAC's Management Unit.
• Ricardo Nuno Abreu de Nóbrega was appointed to the position of Head of the Planning and Management Division of the Regional Directorate for Environment and Sea. The appointment results from a competitive procedure and was formalized by Order No. 362/2026, also under a service commission regime. The graduate in Agrarian Management had already been performing the same role on an interim basis since August 2025.

These appointments strengthen the SRTAC's management structure, ensuring leadership in critical areas such as planning, budget and heritage management, which are fundamental for the execution of regional policies in the areas of tourism, environment and culture.
