Regional Secretary António Eduardo de Freitas Jesus has designated two senior technicians for intermediate management positions, one in the Office of the Regional Secretary and another in the Regional Directorate for Environment and Sea.
The Regional Government of Madeira has proceeded with the appointment of two new heads for intermediate management positions in the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture (SRTAC). The decisions were published in the Official Journal of the Autonomous Region of Madeira (JORAM) and take effect from September 1, 2026.
The appointments aim to fill 2nd-degree intermediate management positions, essential for the management and functioning of the services. The two selected professionals are senior technicians already integrated into the SRTAC's Centralized Human Resources Management System.
These appointments strengthen the SRTAC's management structure, ensuring leadership in critical areas such as planning, budget and heritage management, which are fundamental for the execution of regional policies in the areas of tourism, environment and culture.
The renewal of the service commission for Maria Teresa Brazão as Director of the Environmental Inspection and Legal Action Unit has been authorized.
