Madeira appoints four division heads in equipment and infrastructure

Four appointments to division head positions at the Regional Directorate for Social Equipment and Maintenance (DRESC) have been published, following the reorganisation of its flexible organisational structure set out in Order No. 375/2026 of 21 September. The appointments take effect on 23 September 2026.

• Engineering Projects Division: António João Rodrigues Gonçalves, who holds a master's degree in Civil Engineering, was appointed on a one-year service commission. The decision is set out in Order No. 391/2026, identified in the text as Order No. 48/2026. The position is part of the Directorate of Studies and Projects.
• Architecture Projects Division: Laura Filipa Basílio Rodrigues Martins, who holds a degree in Architecture, was appointed on a one-year service commission. The decision is set out in Order No. 392/2026, identified in the text as Order No. 49/2026. The division reports to the Directorate of Studies and Projects.
• Energy Efficiency Division: Alexandre Nuno Mata Oliveira, who holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, was appointed on a one-year service commission. The decision is set out in Order No. 393/2026, identified in the text as Order No. 50/2026. The division is part of the Directorate of Maintenance and Efficiency.
• Construction Inspection Division: Micaela Sofia Camacho Andrade, who holds a master's degree in Civil Engineering, was appointed on a one-year service commission. The decision is set out in Order No. 394/2026, identified in the text as Order No. 51/2026. The division reports to the Directorate of Inspection and Hydraulics.

All four positions are second-level middle-management roles. The orders state that the expenditure has been allocated under the 2026 budget headings of the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure, and that the appointments do not require prior review by the Madeira Regional Section of the Court of Auditors.
