The Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries has defined the internal organization of the Regional Directorate for Agriculture and Rural Development, creating 16 specialized divisions.
Published in the Official Journal (JORAM), Order No. 354/2026 approves the flexible organic structure of the Regional Directorate for Agriculture and Rural Development (DRA). This instrument implements the internal organization of this service, creating 16 specialized divisions ranging from financial and legal support to agri-food innovation and organic farming.
The new flexible structure of the DRA is composed of the following divisions:
Each division has specific missions and competencies detailed in the order, being headed by a division chief, a 2nd-degree intermediate management position. The instrument maintains the service commissions of the holders of management positions corresponding to the previous structure and repeals the provisions of Order No. 491/2020 that have become obsolete. The new structure came into force the day after its publication.
The renewal of the service commission of Hugo Duarte Araújo da Costa as Director of the Department of Studies and Budgetary Impacts of the Regional Secretariat of Finance has been authorized.
João Francisco Pereira da Conceição Fernandes, director of the Financial Management Unit of the Agency for Innovation and Modernisation of RAM, did not renew his service commission, which ends on 30 September 2026.
