Agriculture and Fisheries Approves New Flexible Structure with 16 Divisions
The Regional Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries has defined the internal organization of the Regional Directorate for Agriculture and Rural Development, creating 16 specialized divisions.
Published in the Official Journal (JORAM), Order No. 354/2026 approves the flexible organic structure of the Regional Directorate for Agriculture and Rural Development (DRA). This instrument implements the internal organization of this service, creating 16 specialized divisions ranging from financial and legal support to agri-food innovation and organic farming.
The new flexible structure of the DRA is composed of the following divisions:
- Financial Support Division (DAF)
- Planning Division (DP)
- Logistics and Maintenance Division (DLM)
- Promotion and Innovation of the Rural and Local Economy Division (DPIERL)
- Financial Management for Rural and Local Development Division (DGFDRL)
- Agronomic Analysis Division (DAA)
- Veterinary and Food Analysis Division (DAVA)
- Contaminant Analysis Division (DAC)
- Technical Support for Farmers Division (DATA)
- Experimentation and Agronomic Improvement Division (DEMA)
- Regenerative and Organic Agriculture Division (DARB)
- Experimental Floriculture Division (DFE)
- Agri-food Innovation Division (DIA)
- Agricultural Markets Division (DMA)
- Incentive Systems Division (DSI)
- Legal Support Division (DAJ)
Each division has specific missions and competencies detailed in the order, being headed by a division chief, a 2nd-degree intermediate management position. The instrument maintains the service commissions of the holders of management positions corresponding to the previous structure and repeals the provisions of Order No. 491/2020 that have become obsolete. The new structure came into force the day after its publication.

The €60,000 cost of legal representation for the Region and legal support in a court case has been rescheduled again. The order allocates €52,250 to 2027, alongside amounts assigned to 2016 and 2023.
