Social Security authorized to spend 831 thousand euros on surveillance services
The Madeira Social Security Institute is authorized to assume multi-year charges for the acquisition of security services and alarm monitoring.
The Regional Government has authorized the Madeira Social Security Institute, IP-RAM, to assume financial commitments for the next three years to enhance the security of its facilities. The authorization was granted through Ordinance No. 404/2026, issued by the regional secretariats of Finance and Inclusion, Work and Youth.
The institute is authorized to assume budgetary charges in the years 2027, 2028, and 2029, for a total amount of 831,357.76 euros (excluding VAT). The amount is intended for the acquisition of human surveillance and security services and connection to a central alarm reception and monitoring station.
The services will cover the Central Services, Local Services, Integrated Establishments, the Madeira Social Inclusion Center, and the Activities and Capacity Building Centers for Inclusion of the Madeira Social Security Institute, IP-RAM.
The total amount including VAT (at the applicable legal rate) amounts to 1,014,256.47 euros. The charges are distributed as follows:
- Fiscal Year 2027: 346,351.98 € (excluding VAT)
- Fiscal Year 2028: 415,723.48 € (excluding VAT)
- Fiscal Year 2029: 69,282.30 € (excluding VAT)
The ordinance came into force on the business day following its publication.
