The Regional Government Council approved the organizational structure of the Regional Secretariat of Health and Civil Protection, formalizing the internal organization of this government department.
The Regional Government Council, meeting in plenary session on August 20, approved the organizational structure of the Regional Secretariat of Health and Civil Protection. The decision was formalized through Regional Government Council Resolution No. 827/2026.
The approval of the organizational structure defines the internal framework, services, and competencies of this regional secretariat, which is responsible for vital areas such as public health, hospital services, and civil protection in the Autonomous Region of Madeira. This administrative act is a fundamental step for the efficient organization and functioning of the department.
The €60,000 cost of legal representation for the Region and legal support in a court case has been rescheduled again. The order allocates €52,250 to 2027, alongside amounts assigned to 2016 and 2023.
The Regional Government has authorised a €21,000 programme agreement with the Madeira Tennis Association for the 7th Madeira Ladies Open International Tournament. The funding will be split between 2026 and 2027.
The Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries appointed Brígida Maria de Oliveira Brazão as a specialist adviser and Renata Isabel Pão Rosário as acting head of division. Both appointments take effect from 8 October 2026.
