Open Competition for Services Director at Regional Tourism Directorate
A competitive procedure has been opened to fill the position of Director of Tourism Enterprises and Activities Services, with applications open for ten working days.
Notice No. 398/2026 was published in JORAM, opening a competitive procedure for the intermediate management position of 1st grade Director of Tourism Enterprises and Activities Services at the Regional Tourism Directorate.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and, cumulatively, be a permanent public sector worker with six years of professional experience in positions requiring a bachelor's degree. The desired profile includes specialized knowledge in the area, leadership skills, planning, and decision-making abilities.
Applications must be submitted within ten working days after the publication of the notice, via a request addressed to the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture, delivered at Avenida Arriaga, No. 18, in Funchal, or sent by registered mail. The selection methods will be curriculum evaluation and a public interview.
The competition jury is chaired by Bárbara Sofia da Silva Spinola, Regional Director of Tourism, and includes Helena Raquel Correia Brazão de Castro and Lília Gouveia Farinha as full members.
