The civil, property, and commercial registration services of São Vicente will formalize their installation in the local Urban Park through a lease contract.
The Regional Government Council authorized the signing of a lease contract to permanently house the civil, property, and commercial registration services of São Vicente.
These services have been installed since 2011 in a 423.14 m² unit on the ground floor of Building 3 in the São Vicente Urban Park, in Vila - Ribeira. The authorization, through Regional Government Council Resolution No. 817/2026, aims to legally regularize this occupancy.
The property in question was built by SDNM - Sociedade de Desenvolvimento do Norte da Madeira, S.A. and is registered in the property register under article 3757. The resolution justifies the use of a lease contract due to the immediate lack of a property owned by the Region in the municipality of São Vicente that meets the necessary conditions to accommodate these services.
The expense related to the lease for the 2026 economic year is already included in the proposed regional budget.
