The Regional Government Council, meeting in plenary session on July 9, 2026, approved the draft decree establishing the new structure of the Regional Civil Engineering Laboratory (LREC). The decision was formalized through Resolution of the Regional Government Council No. 666/2026.
The resolution determines the approval of the draft Regional Regulatory Decree that "Approves the structure of the Regional Civil Engineering Laboratory". This legal instrument will define the internal organization, competencies, and functioning of this regional laboratory, which plays a crucial role in the field of engineering and construction in Madeira.
The approval of this draft is a necessary administrative step for the publication of the regional regulatory decree itself, which will occur later in the Official Journal.
