A public tender worth €10.32 million has been authorized for the acquisition of electronic payment management services for the Simplifica portal and other Regional Government systems.
The Regional Government, through the Regional Secretariat for Finance, has authorized the opening of an international public tender to modernize payment systems. The authorization is contained in Ordinance No. 321/2026.
The procedure, to be published in the Diário da República and the Official Journal of the European Union, concerns the "Acquisition of electronic payment management services for the Regional Government's service portal - Simplifica and other GRM systems." The total contract value is €4,320,000.00, plus VAT at the applicable legal rate.

The expenditure for 2026 will be covered by the private budget of the Agency for Innovation and Modernization of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, IP-RAM. The ordinance establishes that the amount for each year may be increased by the balance carried forward from the previous year.
The Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure has renewed the service commissions for three middle management positions, including at the Regional Civil Engineering Laboratory.
Regional public administration workers will have authorised time off on the afternoon of 30 July and the entire day of 31 July 2026 to attend the stages of the Madeira Wine Rally.
