Mónica Raquel Camacho Fernandes Abreu has been appointed, on an interim basis, as Services Director of the Management Unit of the SRTC.
By Order No. 318/2026 of the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Environment and Culture, Mónica Raquel Camacho Fernandes Abreu has been appointed, on an interim basis, to the position of Services Director of the Management Unit of the Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture.
The appointment, effective from 1 August 2026, is due to the vacancy of the position following the request for dismissal of its previous holder. Mónica Abreu, who holds a degree in Management from the University of Madeira, is a Senior Technician on the staff roster of the Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries and was, until now, serving on an interim basis as Head of Division at the Regional Directorate for the Administration of Justice.
The position of Services Director of the Management Unit is a first-level intermediate management position within the Office of the Regional Secretary.
Senior Technician Tânia Rubina Serrão Freitas de Azevedo has been appointed to the position of Head of the Management and Planning Division, a second-level intermediate management role.
