The Regional Government of Madeira has approved the new core structure of the Regional Directorate of Livestock and Animal Welfare, defining the competencies of its organic units.
Through Ordinance no. 288/2026, published on June 30th, the Regional Government of Madeira approved the core structure of the Regional Directorate of Livestock and Animal Welfare (DRPec). This measure follows the change in the designation and organization of this service, as provided for in Regional Regulatory Decree no. 9/2026/M.
The new DRPec structure comprises three core organic units, led by service directors:
The ordinance also establishes the maintenance of the service commission for the holder of the 1st-degree intermediate management position of the former Livestock Development Services Directorate, who transitions to the new structure.
The Regional Secretariat for Tourism, Environment and Culture has opened a competitive recruitment process to fill a position as Head of Management Support Division.
The final unified ranking list of approved and excluded candidates for a Technical Assistant position at the Regional Youth Directorate has been approved and made public.
The Regional Secretariat for Agriculture and Fisheries has opened a competitive procedure for the position of Director of Planning and Financial Administration Services at the Regional Fisheries Directorate.
