Regional Government authorizes 45 Fisheries Directorate employees to drive official vehicles
The Regional Government of Madeira has issued a general permit for 45 employees of the Regional Directorate of Fisheries to drive official vehicles while on duty.
Through Joint Order No. 51/2026, the Regional Secretariats of Finance and Agriculture and Fisheries have authorized 45 employees to drive official vehicles assigned to the Regional Directorate of Fisheries (DRP). The measure aims to rationalize available resources and address the shortage of drivers to ensure necessary travel for service operations, which are spread across several locations in the Region, including Funchal, Caniçal, Câmara de Lobos, Porto Moniz, Paúl do Mar, and Calheta.
The authorization, which revokes previous orders No. 44/2022 and No. 47/2023, covers the following employees, who hold category B driver's licenses:
Ana Margarida Rocha Reis (Operational Assistant)
Ana Maria Fernandes da Silva (Technical Assistant)
António da Conceição Freitas Nunes Maio (Technical Assistant)
António Fernandes Luís de Abreu (Technical Assistant)
