Metropolitan Development Society moves headquarters to Rua Nova de Sao Pedro
The Regional Government Council Resolution no. 534/2026 has authorized the signing of a non-residential urban lease agreement between PATRIRAM - Titularidade e Gestão de Património Público Regional, S.A. and SMD - Sociedade Metropolitana de Desenvolvimento, S.A.
The relocation of facilities, located at Rua Nova de São Pedro, no. 50, Funchal, is justified by the need to free up space in the Regional Government Building to accommodate the new government structure. The contract has a maximum total amount of 678,000.00 €, with the following financial schedule:
- 2026: 169,500.00 €
- 2027: 135,600.00 €
- 2028: 135,600.00 €
- 2029: 135,600.00 €
- 2030: 101,700.00 €
The physical execution of the contract has retroactive effects starting October 1, 2025.
