The new Strategy Office for People with Disabilities (GEPD) aims to coordinate cross-cutting public inclusion policies in the Autonomous Region of Madeira.
The Regional Government has created, through Resolution no. 224/2026, the "Strategy Office for People with Disabilities" (GEPD). This mission structure, under the supervision of the Regional Secretariat for Inclusion, Labour and Youth, aims to promote the strategic coordination of public policies aimed at full inclusion.
The GEPD will have a two-year mandate and its main functions include:
The structure will be composed of a President (with the status of 1st-degree senior management) and a Secretary, working in close coordination with various regional bodies.
Carolina Patrícia de Nóbrega Correia has signed a permanent public service employment contract for the career of Senior Statistics Technician.
Graduate Bella Karina de Olim Freitas has been appointed, on a secondment basis, to lead the Viticulture Division of the Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Handicrafts Institute.
