The Regional Government, through the Regional Secretariat of Agriculture and Fisheries, has proceeded with the appointment of two new directors on a commission basis for a period of three years:
Both appointments result from prior competitive procedures, aimed at filling intermediate management positions of the 2nd and 1st degree, respectively.
The Board of Directors of the IFCN, IP-RAM, has implemented a broad delegation of powers to its members and managers to streamline current management and reduce bureaucracy.
The Regional Government has appointed new leadership in Health and Commerce, and renewed a position in Agriculture.
Dr. Rita Brazao de Freitas has been appointed as the Director of Planning, Methodology, Studies and Dissemination Services at DREM.
